So after 30 years Hosni Mubarak has finally stepped down as president of Egypt. This happened after weeks of protests by demonstrators in Cairo and other cities.
 
At times over a million people took part in: street demonstrations, marches, rallies, acts of civil disobedience, riots, labour strikes, and violent clashes that began in Egypt on 25 January 2011.
 
These protests have been the largest demonstrations seen in Egypt since the 1977, and really do make you stop and think...
 
What would happen if this happened to England? I can't imagine to think that people would be freely thieving out your home, the army having to control masses amounts of people and making and carrying weapons to protect your family and businesses. It may seem surreal
because it's happening so many miles away... But think of how many people this would of hurt and how all of their lives will now dramatically change forever.
